We're trying to do something a bit different in Vancouver democratize good living.
We think good living shouldn't require a lifetime commitment, or life savings; or that urban apartment living should be divorced from vibrant, participatory community. To that end, our building is an experiment. We've combined the holistic focus of co-op housing, condo-level finishings and amenities, and the flexibility of rental accommodation.
We started by constructing a building that we'd be proud to live in. A building that might be regarded as architecturally significant. A building with a well-appointed lobby staffed by full-time attendants, private gyms on every floor, and 6000 square feet of community gardens and patio space.
We designed units with smart layouts, elegant finishings and enormous, full-length windows. We finished by adding over-
sized decks and an abundance of in-suite storage solutions.
Once our building was complete, we considered how to intentionally nurture community both in the building, and in the surrounding neighbourhood.
We began hosting wine tastings, barbecues, and a variety of social events. We became heavily involved in supporting organizations like the Boys & Girls Club and She Way. Our residents immediately embraced the surrounding Main St culture, with the endless array of cafés & restaurants, live music venues, quirky boutiques, and the natural splendour of Queen Elizabeth Park.
We've found our experiment to be an unqualified success. We've shaped our tenants lives, and in turn, they've shaped ours. If this sounds like something you'd like to be a part of, stop by and check us out.
We'd love to have you join us.
